Romero, George - Cameo in Dawn of the Dead
George Romero (and his wife!) appear in WGON's TV studio at the beginning of Dawn of the Dead,he is the technician who wants a new list of rescue stations, she is the one who wants to know what body orifice she should pull it out of. George also appears later as a walker in the mall scenes, but you have to know his proclivity for flannel to recognize him.

Romero also appears in his earlier film, Martin, as a wine-buff priest; and believe it or not, also appears, from the waist down, as a zombie in Day Of The Dead. Again, you have to be in on the lucky plaid scarf joke. The cameo appears very late in the film, as the zombies are finishing off the soldiers, you see Romero walk past the foreground. It's unlikely that it is the same character he played in Dawn gone zombie, so to speak, as Day is set in Florida and Dawn set in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

George Romero also has cameos in two other films of his. In "Night of the Living dead", he's the tall, heavy-set news reporter who is among the other reporters trying to interview a General. In "The Crazies", he's the (uncredited) mayor of the town.

Mr. Romero's daughter makes a cameo in his film "Bruiser." In the party scene at the end she's dressed as Cleopatra and dancing. She ends up kicking some guy in the face.
