In his films, Raimi puts a little reference to his childhood: a t-shirt from Camp Tamakwa, his childhood summer camp. The only one I've spotted so far is hanging in the closet in Evil Dead II, when Professor Knowby's ghost speaks to Ash, Bobbie Joe, Annie and Jake. It's the only white shirt in the closet. I know for a fact that the shirt appeared in the first Evil Dead, but I do not know of any others...but I'm sure there are some.

Also, Raimi has a cameo as Stick Coder in the film Indian Summer, which was based on and filmed at the real Camp Tamakwa. Yes, that's Sam staring at the camera for the ENTIRE end credits sequence.
