I was just watching Lucy last night, and it was the episode where her club puts on the TV show (and she and Ethel sing "Friendship" and wear the same dress...) Anyway, when Lucy is trying to get Ricky to agree to be the MC for the show by making him feel left out and not directly asking him (if you've seen the episode, you know what I mean), Lucy says, "There's just one person to ask...Dan Jenkins." Guess he was a recurring name.
