Mac OS X Easter Egg - Jokes
1. Open the system preferences. 2. Go to the speech pane. 3. Turn on speakable items, and to speak back text. 4. Ask the computer by saying "tell me a joke". 5. These are random jokes but theres A LOT of jokes. If you find more mac OS X easter eggs please post them, I have not found many of the traditional mac eggs in here.

This is not really an egg; it is a part of Apple Speakable Items. You can also do the same thing in any version of Mac OS with Apple Speakable Items installed.

I rescind my other comment; I just took another look and this is right there in the documentation. It's in the list of available commands. Not an egg, just a neat feature.

i know that, but its been updated to mac os x jokes in there too, and newer ones, if they stuck with the older plain talk voices and jokes, there wouldn't be any OS X jokes, or any thimg new.

Just because it's an egg carried over from a previous version doesn't mean it's not an egg, right? Unless it's in the documentation somewhere, which I haven't seen it there so far.
