Chicago Hope - Mandy Patinkin's Former Life
Mandy Patinkin's character, Jeffrey Geiger, is invited to his ex-wife's wedding to a fellow psychiatric patient (she is hospitalized after killing their son). The officiant at the wedding is another psych patient who thinks that he is Eva Peron, and often breaks into "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." Before the ceremony, the officiant approaches Geiger, looks at him closely, and says, "I know who you are...don't worry, I won't tell."
Mandy Patinkin played Che Guevera in the original Broadway cast of Evita.

Good one! Mandy Patinkin happens to be my favourite actor/singer in the world. There are a few other little interesting tidbits (probably not eggs) that I could add here. On Chicago Hope, Dr.Geiger has model trains on his desk, which Mandy Patinkin collects in real life. Also, when he left the show the first time, he did show, according to the script, to raise the little orphaned child he "adopted" after the death of the "eel".. the guy (I forget his name) who is now on Ally McBeal. In real life, Mandy Patinkin left the show to spend more time with his own family. However, Mandy has kept quite busy with projects since Chicago Hope went off the air. He had done a voice record, recorded another album, starred in some movies, and is currently working on a pilot TV show for Disney entitled (working name) "Everything that Rises." He is amazing.
