HP LaserJet 1100 - Good-Bye Ming-Zen Kuo
1. On the HP LJ1100 the bottom most plate is removable. Remove the three screws and carefully wiggle loose.
2. Disconnect the three cables attached to the circuit board very carefully not to break them.
3. Between the two largest of the connectors on the board in the corner you will find in white type "This Product is Dedicated in Memory or our Good Friend Ming-Zen Kuo"

Ming-Zen Kuo was an employee at HP Laserjet division. He passed away 1998. The Chinese pilot the other poster was referring to was Wang Wei.
