MAD Magazine - Morse Code in Spy Vs. Spy
Somewhere on every "episode" of Spy vs. Spy, there is some Morse code writing on it:
-... -.-- .--. .-. --- .... .. .- ...
This translates to:
BY PROHIAS
Antonio Prohias was the original creator of Spy vs. Spy. Strangely enough the same Morse Code Signature is on the Spy vs. Spy Episodes written and drawn by Peter Kuper. Interesting, huh?

Bystander writes:
According to Spy vs. Spy collection "Spy vs. Spy: The Complete Casebook", Antonio Prohias retired during the early '90's due to his failing health. Though MAD continued his strip, his involvement in the strip became more and more limited, with other artists and writers carrying on the Spy vs. Spy tradition. He later died in 1998. While Prohias was still working on the strip, his byline often simply read "By Prohias", usually accompanied by a morse code version. Deciding to continue his strip through other artists, such as Peter Kruper, MAD maintained the byline "By Prohias" in morse code as a sign of MAD's apprecation for his work and in tribute to Prohias.
