Linux - Aerosmith Quote in Linux Logout
Create a user account on your system with login "tyler". Log into the shell (tested with BASH, though I think this egg comes from the Linux kernel itself), and enter the 'reboot' or 'halt' command. (You can do this as root in another terminal if you need to). You will be presented with the message,
"Oh hello Mr. Tyler - going DOWN?"
This is a reference to Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator" video, in which a sexy elevator operator asks Steven Tyler that very question.

Actually this is NOT in the Linux kernel, it's in the /sbin/shutdown program. You can verify it with this command: ~ % strings /sbin/shutdown | grep DOWN Oh hello Mr. Tyler - going DOWN? The system is going DOWN %s in %d minute%s !!
