Devil's Advocate, The Easter Egg - Mixed Messages

In the funeral scene, right after Mr. Pacino dips his finger in the holy water and Reeves goes running out of the church, you will notice somethin interesting. As Keanu is running by the fence and the camera is panning across the landscape, if you look closely you will notice that the words "MIXED MESSAGES" is written out of the colored dots on the fence.

I don't know about this egg,but a great bit of foreshadowing in the guese of a sign is in the scene where Pacino and Reeves are walking down the street talking about Reeves' image. A man walking behind them is carrying a white box on his shoulder, above the heads of the two stars,on the box is written "Halo Lighting". Product placement for the Prince of Darkness? I've seen this film about five times and never noticed it until the other night on UK Gold

Not sure if this is an egg, but the name of Al Pacino's character is John Milton. John Milton is the author of Paradise Lost, an epic poem written in the 17th century about heaven, hell, and the fall of man (i.e. adam and eve). Also, reference in the movie Seven.

Also there are loads of "halo" things...eg the Halo Lighting workman holding the box really close to Keanus head
