X-Files Easter Egg - Chris Carter and Mitch Pileggi

I noticed that in the episode "Ascension" ( the one where Scully is abducted ) when Mulder gives Scully's mother Scully's necklace, the man who's speaking at the radio says that Chris Carter and Mitch Pileggi have been sent to jail for 18 months.

This is absolutely not true, all you can hear is some guy shouting through a microphone you can not hear what he says and he sure as hell doesn't say anything about Chris Carter or Mitch Pillegi
