Star Wars Episode II - Attack Of The Clones Easter Egg - Attack of the Bloopers

Insert disc one into your player and select the 'Options' menu.

On the options screen carry out the following:

With your remote, press the ten and up button (+10) and you will see a little two digit place in the upper left hand corner. press the number "1" two times when you see that. After the page reloads itself, just press the number 3, you DONT need to press the ten and up button again. Once the page has reloaded itself, press the number 8, DONT press ten and up button again,, and right after you press 8, press enter, and it'll show some credits with music, don't worry, it does the credits between each of the bloopers =)

ENJOY!!!! (This is the correct way, if you're not getting it, you are doing something WRONG!)

If you're having trouble accessing the outtakes, the following information may help: The code sequence that you type in (1 1 3 8) is exactly the same as the one used to view the outtakes on the Episode 1 DVD. If you look at the comments posted for the Easter Egg for the Episode 1 DVD, under the heading 'Outtakes', there are detailed instructions on how to access the outtakes for different models of DVD player (including PS2s). Try using the same instructions for this egg. They should work. Hope that helps.

For my DVD player I needed to press "11" followed by "03" and then "08" on the Options screen - then the credits and the bloopers play automatically! And of course if you're reading this and you don't know the significance of the number 1138 then you're not a true Star Wars fan!

For owners of the UK edition - From the main menu on disc 1 go to Language Options. Many people get confused with this egg (It's exactly the same as the one on Phantom Menace) but the basis is, from the language options screen tell your DVD player to go to Chapter 11, then Chapter 3, then Chapter 8. So some people might have to do 11 {Enter}, 3 {Enter}, 8 {enter} other people may have to do 11{enter}, 03{Enter}, 08{Enter} depending on how your DVD player works. PS2 owners use the Select button to bring up the menu and use the chapter options from there. Happy hunting!

For the DVD credits, you have to press 10+ followed by 1,1,3,8. There are two 1's. It is a referance to Lucas's first movie THX1138. He makes a referance to it in all his movies.

For users with DVD's that don't have a 10+ key, there are a multitude of ways to access the deleted scenes, most centering about entering '1138' from the options menu. This is the one we were able to get working... -> press '1', '1', , '3', , '8', For other options, check the outtake hints from Star Wars, Episode 1: http://www.eeggs.com/items/30014.html

I was wondering if anyone knew a different way to find these bloopers? I don't have a +10 button on my DVD remote. I'm usually pretty good at finding eeggs on my own, but I have been looking around for hours and just can't seem to find it any other way. Thanks.

Hey everyone, I tried this method and it did not work for me. However, I followed these steps and they worked for me: 1. Go to the Options menu 2. Push STOP on your remote control 3. Push DISPLAY and select title 3. This is the exact same method that worked for me on my Episode I disk to see the bloopers. I suggest that if you are having trouble, try what worked for you to see the Episode I disk. Good Luck!

Those of you that don't have access to a number pad on a remote. Laptop or Desktop user... Play the movie and right-click the movie and choose "Title - 3". That should work for everyone that doesn't have a remote control.

On my dvd player (Philips) this works if you just enter 1-1-3-8 without the 10. Just do it slowly so the player has the chance to receive each #.

If you dont know that the number 1138 is a reference to George Lucas's first professional film, THX-1138 [(which also, obviously, inspired the name of Lucas's film mastering company THX) starring Robert Duvall (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) and Donald Pleasance (Halloween, The Great Escape)] that doesn't mean you aren't a true Star Wars fan.

Also, please note that if your remote doesn't have a number pad but *does* have title and chapter access, the credits/blooper reel can be accessed by navigating to Title 3, Chapter 1. My example using PowerDVD XP: (With the main feature playing) right-click in the picture > Go To... > Title 3 > Chapter 1

DVD Region two: The explanation about the number 1 - 1 - 3 - 8 is correct. But you must start from the languages selection screen. There is a THX logo there you can highlight. Once you have it, press 10+ - 1 - 3 - 8. No enters in between. And before you press the next number, wait till the logo is highlighted again.

For PC users, I suggest the following methods: One: On most DVD software, when the movie is playing (You need to click "Play Movie" or go to a chapter because you cannot do this on the nain screen) just right click [on a part of the video] and select Title 3 from whatever title menu your software lets you use. (I used WinDVD so I just hovered my cursor over the "Title" option and selected "Title 3"). THey should play correctly. Two: A slightly "techier" way of doing this is right clicking on your DVD-ROM drive, click "Open" or "Explore" and open the folder labeled "VIDEO_TS". In this, select the very last file and open it. If it wants you to pick a program for you to open it with then just select your DVD-ROM software. The bloopers will play.

Alright then people. If you are still unable to find the Bloopers you need to use your remote and get your DVD player to play TITLE 15, CHAPTER 1. Hope this help you out. It works on Region Two should work on them all. My fave blooper is R2-D2 one.

You don't need a "10+" key. You don't need a Ph.D.: Just do this: Go to options screen (you don't have to highlight the THX logo, it will highlight itself). Push "1" Push "1" Push "OK" Push "3" Push "OK" Push "8" Push "OK" Watch bloopers.

For those who have the Australian version, there is no 'Options' menu as such, you need to access the 'Language Selection' menu. Once in that, scroll down to the THX logo. Once that is highlighted type '11' then wait till the numbers disappear from the screen. Then press '3' and wait again, then press '8'. The screen should momentarily pause, then the credits and bloopers will roll! Enjoy!
