Sam Raimi directed the movie, "Army of Darkness." Within this film, the phrase, "klaatu barada nikto" was used to destroy the Book of the Dead. This was a reference to "The day the Earth Stood Still." (See "Army of Darkness" Easter Egg.)

Sam Raimi also is the Executive Producer for the Television show, "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys." In one episode Hercules was in Egypt where this phrase was used to summon the powers from the Book of the Dead.
