Ghostbusters 2 Easter Egg - Family Values

If you go to the part where the Ghostbusters are put into the Asylum for the Criminally Insane, and you watch closely, you might be able to notice somewhat of a resemblence in characters.

Look closely at the doctor, and then take a look at Bill Murray's character. Do you see the resemblence? Well, you should, because the doctor is indeed Bill Murray's brother.

Ivan Reitman is a great director, but yet what a guy to think of putting a great actors brother into one of his brother's greatest movies.

I noticed that. At first I thought it was actually Bill Murray. Good to know.

I'm afraid that you are wrong on this. The actor that plays the Psychiatrist is actually Brian Doyle-Murray, Bill's older brother. If he looks familiar, it's because he starred in such films as Caddyshack (directed by Ghostbuster co star Harold Ramis), Scrooged (another Bill Murray flick), and Groundhog Day (yet another Bill Murray film). Check out a filmography on him. He's been in more movies and tv shows than you can count.

This is not Bill Murray's greatest movie. Not even close. Life Aquatic Caddyshack Broken Flowers Where the Buffalo Roam
