Big Fish Easter Egg - Burton References

This movie is replete with hidden allusions to other movies director Tim Burton has been involved in.

The Nightmare Before Christmas: Right at the beginning, when a number of lures are in the water, Jack Skellington's skull face appears as a reflection in one of the lures on the left. Also, in the field of daffodils, take note of Edward Bloom's (Ewan McGregor's) tie. It's a picture of the curling hill from Nightmare. Last of all, Danny DeVito's hat as the ringmaster is the same hat as worn by the mayor of Halloweentown.

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure: Near the beginning the young Ed Bloom shows a breakfast making device at the science fair. This same device makes Pee-Wee's breakfast.

Edward Scissorhands: The hand device that Ed Bloom sells seems to be a scissorhands allusion.

The Wizard of Oz: Okay, not Burton admittedly, but there are a bunch of allusions to this movie, especially around Specter. When the camera shows all the shoes hanging on the line, there appears to be a pair of ruby slippers hanging on the left. Also, the moving trees that try to ensnare Ed on his way out of Specter seem to allude to the apple-throwing trees in Oz.

Tim loves this stuff, and we love Tim, don't we? I'm sure there's more, but this is the more obvious stuff I've noticed.

Okay, ci vouz plait, go to the "jack skellington apperance" egg, and read what I wrote. The rest are correct, but the skull...it isn't Jack.
