Spybot - Search and Destroy Easter Egg - Game Hidden

Hard to describe but when you have a specific window open (for example the updates window) next to the word 'update' in the title there is a little icon.

Click on this icon and you will end up with a game where you have to fill in as may squares as possible,

Not as easy as you think.

Definately an eegg as a game has nothing to do with the program

Yeah. Nice egg and the game it's pretty hard. But i have to say that's too easy to find, besides in the web page they alredy said that there is an egg. When i first downloaded Spybot searched for the egg and i discovered it very fast, like 10 secs (and i'm not braggin) :).

When you almost complete it you will see that the picture is in fact that guy with all the arms that is on the back of a Euro Coin! Considering that the programme is german-made, it's not very surpising...!

The background image is by Leonardo Da Vinci. According to http://www.artivisio-kunstdrucke.de/bilder/kunstdruck/881-davinci.htm it's called "Il corpo umano".

The actual name of the painting is "l'uomo vitruviano" (The vitruvian man) by Lenoardo Da Vinci, showing the admirable proportions of the human body, relating it to circumference and square. It's named after Vitruvio's definition of harmony. Vitruvio was a latin architect lived in the I b.C. And, about the Euros... the picture is just in the italian version of the Euro coin. (Each country has a different back for the coins, but not for the notes)

The object of the game is to take your starting spot, and move anywhere like you would as a rook in chess, and you try to fill the whole board moving like that

ok, now i noticed this after about 5 minutes of playing the leonardo da vinci painting one. you can very very faintly see spaces where you can move, i noticed this by looking through my left eye (i dont use it much so it sometimes helps me see things my right eye cant), or maybe try looking in a different spot as this maybe an optical illusion with different "shades" of white, may sound crazy but its how i found it nice egg though

It is Da Vinci's Pertruvian (sp.) Man, darn it! Not some Euro coin drawing. It is a schematic drawing he made of human anatomy, and now serves as an icon for many medical institutes and fields.

Is it ok to tell the pattern? You have to move over/down/up 1 and then in a different direction 2, or reverse it, two / one. The trick is to complete the entire puzzle by filling in the blanks using the two/one or one/two movement. You will see that your count goes up consecutively ... one , two , three , four ... if you do the puzzle right!

Thank for this egg! This is a pretty old game: have a look to it's math solution on an italian book around 1836: http://books.google.it/books?id=hTMCAAAAYAAJ&pg=PA69&lpg=PA69&dq=cavallo+100+scacchi&source=web&ots=JZKUaBBzIQ&sig=F_6F_M9ZiHcWsypG8BnDO-JKYMY&hl=it&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=2&ct=result#PRA1-PT18,M1 (if you can't see this link try http://books.google.it and search for "cavallo scacchi") Also... Vitruvian man by Leonardo is what Italy put as 1 euro coin image... as it is one of italian masterpieces... so they ARE the same thing... Read book 3 chap.1 of Vitruvius "de architectura" http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Vitruvius/3*.html if you want to find it's origin...

The movement is like the move of the Knight in chess, not the rook. Hence you hear the horse when you click to start the game.
