OK I know Black Francis was an unsung hero and a genius, but everyone makes mistakes. The reason this song was titled "Ana" was because Francis said in an interview the letters spelling SURFER formed an anagram. But in fact, an anagram is a word that is formed from the rearranging of the letters of another word. It's actually an acronym, or acrostic. I guess the song should've been called "Acro".
