Once Ash decides to help the villagers fight the deadites, he dives into the trunk of his car (that came back ino the past with him) to get some chemistry books and make weapons. Look closely and you will see a copy of the famous Horror Film magazine FANGORIA... The creator Sam Raimi is paying homage to the magazine as they gave Evil Dead I & II such a good rap.

"Army Of Darkness" is the third movie in the series, by the way.
