Seahorses, The Easter Egg - John Squire? Bitter? No....

For people who don't know, John Squire was the guitarist with The Stone Roses. He split up the band after a falling out with Roses singer Ian Brown. They'd known each other since childhood and no real reason was ever given for the split. John went on to form The Seahorses. The egg is that THE SEAHORSES is an anagram of HE HATES ROSES. So there.

John Squire named the band after he hit his head against a pub sign. (The pub was called The Seahorse! That's all there is to it.
