Godzilla Easter Egg - TV Station Egg

The television station where Animal and Nick's girlfriend (I forget her name) work is called WIDF. This is a reference by Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin to their previous film, Independence Day, which was also called ID4. IDF = ID4.

I don't know, that seems like a mighty stretch. But who knows, you could be correct. I can't say that WIDF is a real TV station in New York as I'm not to familiar with the broadcasting structure over there, but hey, could be.

I live in New York City and the ABC station is called WIDF. So this easter egg is a bogus one. It is called IDF because it's owned by my boss, Igor De la Fuente; Daisy Fuentes' father. I dated her for 4 years before she became a blond and I had to dump her.
