Scorsese, Martin Easter Egg - His Mum

In both the films 'Goodfellas' and 'Casino', Martin's mum is in the film. In 'Goodfellas', she plays the mum of Joe Pesci's character, whom they visit for dinner and a knife. In 'Casino', she is the mum of the mafia running the cash drop-off point and is seen while they are being tapped by the FBI.

Scorsese's mom was also robert de niro's mom in "the king of comedy". you can hear her yelling at rupert pupkin while he tries to make an audition tape.

Actually, before he died, Charles Scorsese was in at least 10 of his son Martin's films. Plus both parents are profiled in Scorsese's autobiographical dcocumentary "Italianamerican."
