Organ Grinder/POAAF(Marilyn Manson) Easter Egg - Hidden Words

The very first line on Organ Grinder sounds alittle distorted..If you know how to backmask you will find that the distirtion reversed reveals a phrase.
It says""If there are children here, my friend, you will die.""
The very last line of the song back masked says this also.

Just thought i might inform you all, IIRC, the quote is one from babes in toyland, as are most of the sound bytes in organ grinder.

Actually, discodj is wrong. Back masking is when you play the song in reverse. This is easy to do with Windows sound recorder.

I know I'll probably sound stupid, but could you please tell me what Back Masking is. Thanks in advance.

"Back Masking" is a term for subtracting the right channel from the left. What you are left with is only the difference between the two, and you can hear some parts of the song quite clearly because most of the instruments (which are (almost) the same on both channels) will be gone. Check it out. One of the easiest ways to do this is with a pair of headphones. Get a discman or some such thing with a headphone jack, and pull the plug out just a little as you listen to the music. It's trippy. Nearly everything is gone- except for the DIFFERENCE between the channels.
