He didn't say Led Zepplin designed the set, he simply said ONE of the designers' favorite band was Led Zepplin. And im sure you've never misspelled something...

Now that the DVD is out, we can frame through all of these eggs and determine which of them are wishful thinking. This is one of them. The symbols are clearly visible, both on the outside of the ship and in the cockpit, and none of them bear more than a vague resemblance to the LZ symbols. This egg is broken.

First time post...here's my theory....the gold disc (album) that traveled with the voyager spacecraft had a picture of da Vinci's man (with the golden ratio superimposed) and it had 9 symbols going across it, signifying the 9 planets of our solar system. With me so far? I'll wait....ok, now that we're on the same page, watch TPM again...the symbols you kids are talking about are similar to the zoso symbols, but they are exactly like the planetary symbols for our solar system. I debated over posting in here for hours.....be gentle...:) ~Tree P.S. it amazes me to no end that there are so many fake eggs in here...Maybe if I didn't sleep for weeks before seeing the movie I'd see howard the duck, a few apes that I _know_by_name_ no less, and maybe a few flying toasters in the sky...lol...:)

You guys may be Star Wars fans, but no Led Zeppelin fans. The symbols look nothing like the 'zoso' symbols used by the band. Sorry.

Actually, Led Zeppelin's fourth album was not titled "IV" or "zoso". That symbol that looks like "zoso" isn't even a word. It's a rune. The album had no title. When it was released, it had no writing on it at all, not even the band's name. Just FYI.

I'm a Star Wars fan, but sorry, I am an even bigger Led Zeppelin fan. And I'm gonna have to discredit this egg, because the symbols on the R2 dock on the ship Anakin gets in are absolutely NOT the symbols of Zeppelin's fourth album. They are vaguely similar, but they are not them. Somebody let me know if this is the correct place I'm supposed to be looking for these symbols.

Thank you! I thought they looked familiar... To the guy above me, they're next to the start buttons in Ani's overheated starfighter in the droid control ship.

Yope, right, it's the four symbols. By the way, Led Zeppelin isn't dead, they JUST RAMBLE ON!!! And Zoso isn't a word, it's a mixture between astrological signs and celtic runs, something that's supposed to reflect Jimmy Page's personality.

All of you are in the ballpark on this one but not exactly right. Zoso is not a word; it is a collection of symbols. Each of the band members produced from somewhere a symbol which was to represent them. Im a big led zeppelin fan, so i just thought i would clear that up.

Some of you guys are stupid. The album was released years before the movie. Only one band member is dead and Page and Plant still do stuff today.

Thanks Jeff, my thoughts exactly. Anyway, I would love to know where these symbols are; I have been so far unsuccessful in locating them.

I too own the CD "Zepplin IV" (or Zoso) and they do show some resemblance. Look a little harder, dude.

What are you all "rambling on" about??? If you are referring to the symbols above the start button that Anakin pushes, while he´s in the starship (inside the droid control ship), then you are wrong with suggesting that these symbols are the same symbols used by the member of Led Zeppelin. I´m a very dedicated Zeppelin fan and I know how the symbold look like! BTW, for settings clarification: just after Anakin pushes the button 2 times, the face of Darth Maul appears as he and Qui-Gon continue with the "sword fighting". As I was saying, these symbols do not look like the Zep symbols, but I´m willing to accept the idea that these symbols from the StarWars font collection. There is a truetypef font collection called StarWars, and these symbols could well be from that collection. But is something I haven´t yet checked. P.S. : quote: "This site is a true GOLDMINE"

Actually John Bonham, the drummer, is dead, but Jon Paul Jones, Robert Plant, and Jimmy Paige are all alive.

Besides... I'm pretty sure Jones still does music too. I went to the reunion concert here where the three remaining members got Bonham's son to play drums for them. Only a couple years ago. To Lil' Bro . . . Please understand that NO ONE has attempted to either state or imply that Led Zepplin designed the set. It could be that the symbols have been borrowed from LZ. It could be that they were borrowed from the Voyager probe. It could be a freaky coincidence, or maybe the digital editing guys had some fun with it in post-production. In any case, NO ONE has suggested that Led Zepplin had any part in the design of the set. Thank you.
